Finally! (Äntligen!)

After what seems like a year of ”update coming soon” and absolutely no activity on malintrotzig.se it’s finally time to reveal the new and improved me! Well, new and improved site at least. I’m still pretty much the same person.

This time I’m doing the whole site in English, because you know, it’s nice if the people in the country where I actually live understand what I have to say. I know most Swedes speak English well enough to catch most of it. And if not, there’s always the magic of Google translate.

I’m really very proud of the new site, the look feels very ”me” and it’s got all of the cool features that I wanted. Well, mostly the cool feature of a functional portfolio, but hey that’s all I need. The main thing for a designer with a website is really to showcase your work.

Also proud of the fact that I did the whole thing pretty much on my own. Well, a thank you to my husband Henric is necessary. He’s always there when I need advice on css or other code mysteries. But mostly I need to give a shoutout to Headwaythemes, an awesome tool that lets me build my wordpress powered site from scratch without having to know how to code.

Oh, and thank you, to my talented friend Johanna Syrén who took the pictures of me and made me look good.

For those of you who read my blog livinginfogcity or perphaps even the design focused blog I wrote here on malintrotzig.se a few years back, you might be wondering what’s going to happen on this blog. Well, the plan is to write a mix of posts on both design stuff and my life in San Francisco. I can’t make any promises as to how often I’ll be posting but I’ll try to make it more often than every six months…
